I used to always think it was so stupid how people would say that fans of something could ruin that thing for you. In my head, it didn't matter how the fans acted it was whatever the person or thing was that mattered. Over the past year I can now understand.
I used to be a huge fan of Dolph Ziggler. I thought he was good but many of his fans over rate him so much that it made me eventually stop liking him. Ziggler wasn't treated the worst out of every wrestler, he got way more, and had a better career than a lot of people are able to say but if he loses once fans freak out saying he deserves better and is being buried. They say he is the best and in my opinion he is not. There's better characters, better mic workers, more interesting wrestlers. Constantly hearing fans act like he gets treated horribly and is better than everyone else was extremely annoying to me. I don't think he is the best, I don't think he deserves better, I think other people deserve way better, Zack Ryder, Heath Slater, Emma etc. Dolph is not treated that bad but his fans made it sound like he was being killed. Hearing the same thing over and over again and having someone so over rated in my opinion be treated like the God of wrestling annoyed me so much that eventually when he started coming out I would roll my eyes. It sucks because I was a fan of him since he was in the spirit squad but his fans took the fun out of being a fan and now he annoys me like no other.
