This was an idea I had kicked around months ago in response to the ongoing questions of 'can you 'like' your own post?' The general consensus was that yes, you COULD, -but as best-practice we were asked to not do this. I noticed last night on my +Smartphone that the ''like" +Star was absent on MY posts when signed-in to my account, but present on the +Posts of others. I just read a post about the 'missng star' issue, It is my opinion that there is and has never been anything inherently 'wrong' with a self-like on your own post, and that one could only do it ONCE was a good indication. But that action does presumably give you an extra +Penny percentile, so maybe it was like double-dipping? But again, when you +Publish a post and first view it live online, you get a free '1-view' from your OWN visit. Still, this is for the betterment of the site and reflective of more accurate and honest
