A six month old kitten from Albuquerque New Mexico went missing. Five days later it showed up in Portland Maine. The kitten was found in a duffel bag at a thrift store. They brought the kitten to an animal shelter.
At the animal shelter they found out that the Kitten had a chip implanted under its skin. They were able to trace the owners who had no idea how Spice got so 2300 miles from home.
The owners did not have the 1000 dollars needed to fly spice back home. A cat lover who heard the story volunteered to fly spice back home paying all expenses. So it turned out to have a happy ending.
