Both my mother and husband have birthdays within 1-2 days of Christmas. This means that I have to come up with ideas for TWO great presents for them at this time of year instead of just one now and another several months later.
The problem is that both of these two individuals are hands-down the two most difficult people to shop for. I have a hard enough time trying to come up with ONE good idea for them but to have to do two at once is always a challenge.
I already have one idea for my mother but that leaves me with 3 more things to find: a Christmas present for my husband, a birthday present for my husband, and a birthday present for my mother. . . along with all of the other Christmas shopping that I have to do for family members and friends.
As much as I love the holiday season, I really dislike the double whammy birthday challenge. It adds stress to a time of the year that should be fun and relaxed.
